Soccer predictions are aimed at people placing bets on soccer matches, trying to make money
off them. Netherlands vs Mexico is a match scheduled for the Round of 16 of the
2014 Brazil World Cup. Netherlands demolished Spain 5-1 in their opening World
Cup match. Though Spain was the better side for the first 40 minutes, Holland
called the shots there onwards. Launching one deadly counter attack after the
other, the Dutch executed each one with great success. After that, the Netherlands
won 3-2 against Australia. In their final game of their group stage, Holland
again showed their counter attack skills by beating Chile 2-0, even though
Chile deserved something for their efforts.
Even
though they won 1-0 against Cameroon, Mexico should have won by an even larger
margin had the two perfectly good goals by Dos Santos not been disallowed.
Cameroon’s strikers hardly troubled the Mexican defense. In their second group
stage match, they faced a formidable side in Brazil, as the defense had to work
hard, and goalkeeper Ochoa had a night to remember as Brazilian striker Neymar
was denied a couple of goals. Mexico too had many good counter attacks. In
their last game, they faced Croatia, who, in desperate need for points, had no
option but to go forward, and Mexico tore them to shreds with a 3-0 win.
Robin
van Persie is set to return form suspension, while Leroy Fer and Bruno Martins
are unlikely to make the squad.
Central
midfielder Jose Juan Vasquez, who has played all three games for Mexico in the
World Cup, is suspended.
Holland
should be more than be able to get their way more often than not in the game.
Mexico will be glad to get a considerable amount of possession form the
Netherlands and then counter. This sums up the Netherlands vs Mexico 2014 World
Cup match’s soccer predictions.
